With the body channeled over the frame the huge stock Zenith carburetors are too tall to allow for the stock hood to fit. I found a modern "American" side draft carburetor that will work height wise. A Carter model 714. Here I made new bases and welded them onto the original intake manifolds.

This is the correct Auburn 12 carburetor setup using dual Strombergs and this neat 2 into 1 casting with a single filter. (all neat and very rare now)
